Because of this combination, lift accessed freeriding is a true luxury. This attract freeriders from all over the world, even professional film crews come to the Arlberg to shoot there images.
Freeriding can be a sport with consequences, if you take the wrong decisions. The Snowboard Arlberg guides are highly trained guides and possess the highest level of the Austrian snowboard guiding course. They are trained to be on point about the snow conditions and possible dangers. Hike and ride.

Some busy days in the season a hike and ride is just the right thing to do. Avoid the crowds, walk away from the slopes and the chairlifts. To reach some of the best lines in the Alrberg, a short hike is necessary to start one of many lines. The peaks are all reachable in 30 by 45 minutes hikin from one of the top stations. Once you feel comfortable in the backcountry, the next step will be a splitboardtour with Snowboard Arlberg.
